It’s a dance off
Expect the unexpected at DM’s Improv
December 5, 2019
Ever wonder what the world’s worst doctor might say?
Or what a musical about sewer goblins might sound like?
Or what might happen when evolution, accelerated by climate change, robs sharks of their teeth?
Or, if you wonder none of those things and would like a few laughs, then attend ‘Love Shack’, the next performance of DMHS Player’s Improv troupe Friday, Feb. 7, in the Black Box.
“It’s like a culmination of different students who each exhibit creative tendencies on steroids,” said senior Megan Yarnall, who has been a member of the troupe for three years. “Witnessing it in person is this strange composition of what you imagine a human brain is able to do. On steroids.”
This year’s troupe includes four veterans–Yarnall, co-captains Carter Warner and Isabelle Knowles–and five newcomers: senior Mikayla Glancy and sophomores Jack Yampolski, Nate Roston, and Sam Markson.
“I’m really proud of how we’ve all come together to work as a team this year,” Warner said.
