Sophia Good, Staff writer

Sophia Good is an aspiring journalist who one day hopes to attend Emerson College to pursue this dream. She first found out about journalism from the one and only, “Gilmore Girls.” Sophia is a part of the Class of 2025 and hopes to gain knowledge and experience through WolfsPrint. She’s always had a passion for writing, but realized her specific knack for journalistic writing in 7th grade.

Sophia’s favorite stories to write about are ones that she can relate to and also stories that connect to the readers. She’s a realist and feels drawn to journalism because nowadays young adults in our society are getting drawn further away from the world around them. She hopes to one day change this and draw her community closer together. Sophia’s main reason for joining WolfsPrint is to fuel this dream and work towards her goals.

Sophia has a small background in theatre and improvisational acting. Although she doesn’t plan on doing anything with this experience, it did open her mind to play writing and scripting in general. She does, although, take interest in the off-stage parts of performing arts, and enjoys reviewing novels, films, and plays.

Sophia also gained interest in journalism through novels, hoping one day to be a published writer. She’s taken interest in stories surrounding human nature, her current favorite being Clare Pooley’s, “The Authenticity Project.” This novel sparked her interest in journalism by making her realize how little she knew about the world around her.

Sophia has always had a passion for people. She hopes WolfsPrint will allow her to share this passion with others, connecting readers through her stories. She also takes interest in psychology, hoping to one day dig deeper into the inner workings of our minds. Even though she has big aspirations, for now, her nearest goal is to graduate and gain rich experience in writing through WolfsPrint!
