Trevor Lawrence, Writer
Trevor Lawrence is a junior at Desert Mountain High School, and while he’s not focused on writing articles for Wolf’s Print, he is eager to be a photographer for them. Though his plans for his future aren’t set in stone yet, he’s hoping to become a mechanical engineer or an investigative journalist; he’s also interested in learning more about welding from the EVIT program.
Trevor was born in Irving, Texas and moved to Arizona when he was eight months old, then back to Texas when he was six years old, and then when he was 14, they moved back to Arizona for the final time. Now after nearly four years back, he’s finally growing into new social circles and surrounding himself with new friends-one of which is the reason he’s here in the Wolf’s Print. He’s eager to learn more about the inner workings of a newspaper, as well as see how the community will receive the articles that Wolf’s Print publishes.
Trevor has loved photography since he was six-years-old, but his focus shifted from taking pictures recreationally to professionally after coming across his favorite character, Peter Parker from Marvel Comics. Ever since then, he’s wanted to help people by getting information about corruption out to the public, while also wanting to write in an unbiased manner. Although Wolf’s Print isn’t investigative journalism, it’s still a step in the right direction for him, as it contributes to his ultimate goal: Learning not only more about writing through Wolf’s Print, but specifically about journalistic writing, whilst maintaining a focus on photography.
