Rachael Nelson, Writer

Rachael Nelson is a junior at Desert Mountain High School. This is her third year attending this school and she loves it. Not only does the school provide amazing opportunities in sports, classes, and colleges, etc it also provides the students with clubs. One of these clubs being Wolf’s Print. She has never been on Wolf Print or done anything like it, however, she is looking for something new to accompany her already fun-filled and busy life. Rachael already participates in the Desert Mountain community, she has been on the varsity girls' golf team for the last two years, attends many of the sporting events, and more! She loves the community that the school provides and would love to share her views on important or impressive matters within this community. Wolf’s Print is the perfect opportunity for Rachael to get involved, express her interest in journalism, and make an impact on her community. Rachael has always been interested in writing, whether it be short stories, poems, interviews, etc but has never pursued it. She was inspired by her love for books.  From the first book series she got when she was nine; Ivy and Bean to the current book series she is reading; Alex Cross. When she saw the wolf print, she decided that would be her starting point. Although Rachael has never done anything regarding journalism Rachael is thrilled to join Wolf’s Print as a rookie journalist. She is eager to explore the world of journalism and bring fresh perspectives to the Desert Mountain community. Rachael’s enthusiasm for uncovering stories and her love for writing drive her to dive into every assignment with energy and curiosity. As she beginnings this new adventure, she looks forward to developing her skills and making a meaningful impact through her articles. Along with that, she is excited to have the opportunity to share her opinions, provide insight, and express the creative journalist inside her.
