Darya Khayami is a junior at Desert Mountain High School. This is her first year doing the wolf print. She is very excited to start writing and sharing her stories with you. Darya didn’t always enjoy writing. She thought it was boring and time-consuming and not for her. Until she reaches high school. She desisted to take creative writing her sophomore year and she quickly realized that this was the best thing ever. She finally realized what she wanted to do with her life. She felt she could finally express her self and put all her feelings down into her poetry and her short stories. Darya is always being inspired all around her. But one thing that mostly inspires her writing is her music. She writes about how the music makes her feel. She writes about how she feels deep down. As Darya keeps writing she wants people to hear her voice and tell people that everything will be ok. She wants the reader to embrace the bad and procure it. Because not everything will be peaches, rainbows, and unicorns. She loves writing about the dark gloomy times and the thoughts running through your head that you are too scared to say out loud. But she hopes her writing will make you speak up and speak what you’re thinking. When Darya is done with school and continues her life she would love to be a movie writer and director. She loves the idea of her writing coming to life. She wants someone to enjoy her writing like how she enjoys it. She wants it to inspire people to do what they want to do and what they will be happy doing not what society wants.
