Carson Bauman, Writer

Carson Bauman is a Junior, starting her third year as a student at Desert Mountain. She is a new member of Wolf’s Print, and Wolf’s Print social media manager. Carson has worked on and been a journalist for her old-school newspaper and enjoys writing, even when writing essays for English class! Through writing for Wolf’s Print, she hopes to engage readers with interesting articles while also making them laugh. Carson looks forward to speaking and meeting with new people, and reporting on stories and situations that truly bring out the more interesting and fun parts of Desert Mountain! She is eager to write and tell the stories of those who need to be heard, and to bring together listeners to display a different perspective on Desert Mountain. She has written for school newspapers before and is proud to be able to be a part of this community. Through her favorite music artist, The Japanese House, Carson has come to realize the importance of poetry and notice its recurrent behavior in the world around her. She would like to create the persona of a storyteller and a strong-minded individual and be able to write her articles in an almost poetic way. As she continues to write, she hopes to learn more about how to draw readers in and gain experience in writing and journalism as a member of the Wolf’s Print. In future years, Carson hopes to gain skills in writing professionally and have an interesting style of writing that draws readers in. For now, she feels privileged to be a part of this amazing community and continue to grow.
