Ava Lambert is a Junior who attends Desert Mountain High School and has recently joined the school’s newspaper, the Wolf Print. According to Ava, she has had a love of writing ever since the start of high school. As she slowly started to enjoy the art of words, she began to take a Creative Writing class which taught her many things and even grew her passion for it even more. It also sparked her to begin writing poetry for class assignments in addition to outside of school. Ava says she enjoys writing because she finds it beautiful how much you can express yourself in various ways just by a few words. Though she says that she used to hate having to write and it would be such a bore to her. However, as she grew older she began to see the beauty in it and how much freedom writing allows. Seeing this made her love it instantly and now everytime she is presented with the opportunity to write, she looks forward to it. As her passion for writing continues to grow, so does her love of reading. Her favorite books in the world are If he had been with me or every summer after. She says she loves the way the authors write and what words they use to convey the feelings of the characters to the reader. Ava emphasizes how much she recommends the book as according to her it’s the best romance book ever. Ava also has many more romance novels that she would love to read in the future like The notebook, Little Women, and The Great Gatsby. Moving on from reading, she has two future goals that she would like to accomplish; either attend college and get her masters degree in business so she can take over her mothers magazine and continue to make it thrive, or attend college and major in law and become a criminal or family lawyer. As of now, she is still conflicted on which path to choose but Ava states she knows for a fact that she is thrilled to be a part of the Wolf Print newspaper and is anticipating the many memories to come.
