Carter Warner is a senior at Desert Mountain. She is co-captain of the Improv Team and Secretary of Drama Club. This year, she performed all three nights of Coffee House playing Crocodile Rock and New York State of Mind on Stage 3/4, and You Belong with Me with Allie Angus on Stage 2.

Allie’s reason for performing You Belong With Me : “I chose this song because I listen to this on repeat so many times when I was younger, and the music video was so fun to watch, and I’ve probably watched that so many times. And I really love Taylor Swift, and thought that this would be a fun, uplifting song.”

Allie’s advice for others wanting to audition for Coffee House: “Go for it. You only have four shots in High School to audition, and perform in this awesome performance. And it’s just really chill and relaxing and it’s not something to be super stressed about, and it’s just raw and original you, so go for it, don’t be nervous because you got this.”

Carter’s advice for others wanting to audition for Coffee House: “Don’t worry about what other people want you to play, or what you think other people want to hear. Focus on coming in, giving a good audition, and playing what makes you happy.”
