Brooke McKeever, Staff Writer

Hello! This is Brooke McKeever's bio. Brooke is in the class of '22 and in her first year on the newspaper. She spends the majority of her time dwelling in the basement as a member of the performing arts. When shes not spending time with her amazing friends, she can be seen belting showtunes in the wrong key, driving to Dutch Bros with her sister, or on the rare occassion, practicing her instruments.

Brooke is a member of Drama Club, the yearbook staff, marching band, and the school's wind ensemble. She also had a short lived jazz trombone career. She has plans to go into the AP track starting her junior year along with taking up theatre classes.

When it comes to writing, her favorite stories to write are the ones she gets to see in real time and experience, hence her love of writing about the fine arts. Her most relatable quote about writing comes from Disney's Newsies-- "but give me some time, I'll be twice as good as that six months from never".

After this whole high school business, Brooke hopes to major in sociology with a minor in either musical theatre or instrumental music. She hopes you enjoyed learning a little about her :)
