Grace Wyant, Writer
Grace Wyant is ecstatic to be joining Wolf’s Print during her sophomore year of high school! Constantly jumping into new opportunities, she’s excited to dive into journalism. With a genuine passion for storytelling (she must have gotten from her parents), Grace is crossing her fingers as begins a journey of informative writing outside the classroom. She hopes to infuse her articles with the same curiosity and wonder she feels about the world around her, transforming the seemingly mundane into something engaging that resonates with her peers. In addition to her writing, she’s also thrilled to contribute visually to the newspaper. A long-time lover of comic books, she’d love to create her own comic strip with a possibility for publication. Tied to her beliefs about the importance of art, she believes that the influence of journalism is all around us, playing a crucial role in balancing out falsehoods that often permeate our world. Effective journalism, along with thoughtful social commentary, enables individuals to navigate and understand complex issues. By providing accurate and reliable information, journalism enables the public to make informed decisions that contribute to a healthier society. It is a cornerstone of democracy, fostering accountability and transparency in a constantly evolving (and often dubious) social and political landscape. The high school relevancy of that statement is debatable, but she is thrilled to be joining Wolf’s Print all the same!
